DAVID PARMLEY

A native of southern California, David Parmley is a founding member of the internationally acclaimed, Bluegrass Cardinals.  In 18 years, the Cardinals recorded fifteen separate projects, made appearances on the Grand Ole Opry, the Ralph Emory Show and performed at the White House for former President, Jimmy Carter. In 1994 David teamed up with banjo great, Scott Vestal to form Continental Divide. The rest is, as they say, "history".

Known for his soulful voice, driving rhythm guitar, and exceptional skills as an arranger and producer, David has notched many awards, including: International Bluegrass Music Association's prestigeous "Recorded Event of the Year" in 1991 and 1995. Continental Divide became an instant success claiming IBMA's coveted, "Emerging Artist of the Year" award in 1995.

RANDY GRAHAM

Another native Californian from a musical family, Randy Graham was also a founding member of the Bluegrass Cardinals.  Randy and David quite literally grew up singing together, which becomes very apparent in every note they sing.

Holding down the mandolin chores for the band, Randy's percussive chop adds to Continental Divides first generation inspired rhythm.

His musical career, which now spans three and half decades, also includes tenures and recodings with such celebrated groups as Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, The New Quicksilver and BlueRidge.

Off stage, Randy spends as much family time as possible, boating on Lake Cumberland with his daughters Savannah and Victoria, and wife, Kim.  Together they own and operate The Graham Talent Group, and artist rep firm, based in south-central Kentucky.

   STEVE DAY

It's doubtful that one could find a bluegrass fiddler that puts more drive in their bow arm, than Continental Divide's "Fiddle Man," Steve Day.

Hailing from Caneyville, Kentucky, Steve began his muscial career with his father, Hargis, and uncle, Marion Higgs, playing shows and contests all over Kentucky, the midwest and southeast.  He was twice crowned Kentucky state fiddle champ.

Whether a ballad, firey instrumental or hard driving bluegrass classic, Steve plays what fits... no more, no less!

Steve has recorded several highly acclaimed projects, including... "Fiddle Man," and "it's All About Fiddlin.' "

Steve resides in Bowling Green, KY with his wife and son  In addition to his duties with Contiental Divide, he raises cattle with his dad on the family farm in Caneyville and teaches music in Bowling Green.

MATT WALLACE

Matt Wallace was born and raised in East Tennessee. He now lives in Morristown, TN with his beautiful wife Diane and son, Whitley.

Matt has played with two award winning bands prior to Continental Divide. He began his career playing with the legendary Paul Williams and the Victory Trio, where they were two-time SPBGMA  Bluegrass Gospel Band of the Year during his tenure. Matt then joined Audie Blaylock and Redline where he helped record two #1 albums and has risen to the top ranks of bluegrass bass players.

Here's what our buddy and IBMA award winning dobro playing, Phil Leadbetter has to say about Matt...

“Anyone who plays in a bluegrass band understands that the bass is the foundation for the music. When the bass playing is strong the music really grooves.  Matt is without a doubt one of the finest bass players in all of bluegrass music and makes any band he is a part of a rhythm machine. He is as true as any metronome. “
